The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear and present public health, public safety, and national security threat. DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.

 

Officers with the Rhome Police Department will accept unused and leftover medications on Saturday, October 28th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our drive-thru drop-off location is the Rhome Community Center at 261 School Road, right next to the Fire Station. Take the time to look through your medicine cabinets, and please bring us any unused and unneeded medications for disposal.
